Basics of OPERATING SYSTEM
Definition:-
It is the main program that manages the hardware and the software. It controls every section of memory, device and each file. It is the most important part of a computer system.
How it works:-
It is very important as it works as a main source between the hardware and the software. It is the path by which the instructions coming from the user go from the software to the hardware. There are different Operating Systems being used right now but some of the main, big operating systems are the Windows (Microsoft), Apple and Linux operating systems.
Every operating system is different from the other one in one aspect or the other and every operating system has some advantages and some disadvantages. But, the concept on which all these operating systems are built is the same.
Every Operating System has four essential managers which work together as a team to solve every problem and get every task or job from the user done. The operating system can be said as the hub of all the manager operations which controls all these four managers at a time. They are:-
 Memory Manager:-
It is the head of the main memory. Its work is to scan every request for memory space, checks if it is valid and allows allocation of memory spaces that are not taken already. Memory space is mainly to be DE allocated to free some space for future requests.
 Process Manager:-
Its work is to decide how to allocate the brain of the computer which in computer terms is known as the Central Processing Unit (CPU). The process manager keeps track of the status of each process. It handles the jobs as soon as they enter the system.
 Device Manager:-
Its job is to manage every device, channel and the Control Unit (CU). It chooses the most efficient way to allocate all the devices that are connected to the computer.
 File Manager:-
It checks every type of file that is on the computer system. It checks whether the file is read only or read-write type of file.
 Network Manager:-
It allows different users to share hardware and software resources controlling the users’ access to them.

Operating system:-
  • It is the low level program that manages all the hardware as well as software.
    It is worked as a middle man that's making sure us about the hardware and software. It has controlled the process files, memory and perform other tasks.
    The best examples of operating system are Linux, windows, VMS and AIX. All have the advantages and disadvantages, but they are all based on the same concepts.
In our computers every operating system has four central managers that's are work together in the form of team.
1- Memory manager:-
  • Memory manager is the head of main memory(RAM).
    It scans every request from main memory and checks it is valid.
    It allows the location of memory spaces, they are not taken already.
    Memory spaces mainly to be d-allocated, the free space for our request.
2- Process manager:-
  • Process the job which is under he execution when we run any file in our computer.
    It tells about the brain of the computer which is known as CPU(Central processing unit).
    It handle jobs as they enter the system and manage each process.
3- Device manager:-
  • Monitors, every devices which are connected with our computer known as peripherals and the control unit are called the device.
    It changes all the properties of our devices which are connected of our computer.
    It allows to user view.
    It has to choose the most efficient weight allocate all the system devices.
4- File manager:-
  • The file manager checks every types of files, that is present in our computer system, It means compiles, state of files.
    It set permission that that only see certain files.
    For example:
    when we log in in the guests account you can not open the administration account because you have no permission to do it.

5- Network manager:-
  • By networking users can share to hardware and software resources.
    Network manager gives the security ensuring that network is protected from agent users.
    Making sure the network is available to users.

An operating system means that which operate a system. Such as a computer needs an operating system to operate different types of programs and different types of soft-wares on it. Operating system provides a platform to perform different types of tasks in a computer. Application requires an operating system to run and is an essential component of system software. Operating system is basically an intermediate step which interacts between a computer and a user. OS also works to recognize the devices such as input devices output devices and many more. An OS interacts between a user and a computer by converting the computer language into a common human language, which can be easily, understands by a human. With the help of OS program can be easily run in a computer and can easily manage the storage, and a user don’t need to worry about the storage or to allocate the software.

OPERATING SYSTEM:-
DEFINITION:-
The operating system is the cheif program that manages both hardware and software it is controlled of every process file sectional memory and devices. It is very important in the computer because it works as a mid man between hardware and software, the windows, UNIX, LINUX are the example of the operating system and hey have their own advantages and disadvantages, they are all are based on the same context.
CONTEXT:-
There are fiur essential managers of the OPERATING SYSTEM which works like a team in the operation of the operating system. the operating system works like a BOSS and these essential managers works as the employe.
1.Memory manager.
2.Process manager
3.Device manager
4.Network manager
MEMORY MANAGER
The memory manager is the head of the main memory, it checks every request from the memory and utilize if it is valid or not, it allows the location of the memory space which is not to allowed, it can also reallocate the free space for our request.
PROCESS MANAGER
The manager which allocate the brain of the computer which ic called CPU (central processing unit) it process the job which is under the execution in the system.It is necessary to the process manager to track each of the spaders process and to handle the system which are associate to this job.
DEVICE MANAGE
It monitor every devices, channel and control unit which are connected to the computer it has to choose the most efficient weight which allocate in the system, USB , printers , Hard devices e.t.c are the example of the device managers.
FILE MANAGER
The file managers checks every type of file that is in the system such as txt files and stored applications .it also give the permission so the user can operate the required file. it tells us the file is read only or read or write only.
NETWORK MANAGER
These allows the user to share the information of hardware and software resources.
